Why am I saying this? because it's true.
This week I received my first Christmas gift, actually it was JUST a Christmas card...but it ment SO MUCH. It made my day. It made me happy. It made me smile. It made me feel good about life and about people. It made me believe once again that there are people who give, with all their heart, without expecting anything in return, just for the joy of the other person. It was a Christmas card from Germany...sent by

...so, here's a big
THANK YOU
I appreciate what you did!
It also made me think about me...I also read in *
TheFulkrum's journal, and got some inspiration...we really should be more giving. That's why I want to feature, as often as possible, underrated art. It will have like a special place in my journal, as my latest

s have. What I hope for is to get some of your attention, or that they'll get some attention due this feature and that you'll enjoy the pieces.
One more thing...because it's the season of gifts...I want to give away some features. The first 30 who'll leave a comment to this journal and want to get featured, are asked to also leave 3 thumbcodes with their favourite works. Before Christmas I'll make a journal/article and feature them.
Let's get down to business...
P.S. no one sent me a screenshot from my 20.000 pageview
Holiday Wish List
So...Christmas is knocking at our doors

but before I share my Christmas list with you, here are some rules
~ STEP ONE!
Make a post in your journal. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you. In this case, you can always just note someone on dA.

Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your journal, so that others can join in and participate to spread the holiday joy!
STEP TWO!
Surf around your friend list to see who has posted their list. Here's some of my friends that have a list...

And now here's the important part:

If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

REMEMBER this is about ways you can help people through what you have. You do not need to blow all your savings on this , it is simply to get that good feeling when you help people out.
